This winter, Roppongi Hills once again transforms into a spectacular winter wonderland with the return of the Keyakizaka Illumination, a beloved Tokyo tradition. Running from November 7 to December 25, 2024, this magical display lights up Tokyo’s streets, immersing visitors in the festive season with nearly 900,000 LED lights stretching across the 400-meter Keyakizaka Avenue. The mesmerizing “Snow & Blue” lights create a frosty yet enchanting atmosphere, illuminating the path in a glow reminiscent of a winter paradise.
Keyakizaka “Snow & Blue” Illumination
The Keyakizaka Illumination is a timeless holiday tradition that brings the sparkle of winter to Roppongi, drawing visitors from all over to enjoy the city’s festive lights. Each evening from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the avenue glows in cool shades of white and blue, a lighting design crafted by the renowned Motoko Uchihara Design Office. Even after 20 years, this display remains a cherished highlight of the Roppongi Hills Christmas season.

The celebration continues at 66 Plaza, where the vibrant “Luminous Bouquet” illuminations return for another year. Inspired by colorful bouquets, this light display features around 200,000 LEDs artfully arranged on the Keyaki trees to create a breathtaking bouquet of lights. From November 14 to December 25, visitors can experience this dazzling display from 5:00 PM until midnight (ending at 11:00 PM on the last day), offering a radiant, multi-colored spectacle that adds warmth to the crisp winter nights.
